7 Depression & Sadness Uplifters
Holidays bring extra stress with which comes frustration, unease, depression, sadness and fatigue. What helps me to uplift those heavy feelings are these 7 rules:
1. Don’t do anything you don’t want to do. (Yes, you have an option to do not do anything you don’t feel like doing. What is the worst that can happen if you don’t do what you think you have to do?)
2. Do only what you want to do.
3. Take Vitamin C & probiotics both keep your immune system strong, decrease cravings for sweets and speed up holiday hangover recovery.
4. Drink warm water with lemon in the morning.
5. Get together with those who uplift you.
6. Let go of perfection.
7. Move your body even if it’s just 15 minutes on yoga mat or a walk around the block.
