Simple Raw Cocoa Avocado Cake

Do you crave something simple, healthful, rich, smooth, chocolaty with a little tarty and crunchy on the side? In case of raw cocoa avocado cake it’s all of the above! Only six ingredients make it the easiest yet most decadent cake there is.  You will need:

  • 8 pitted dates
  • 1 cup of salted almonds
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 3/4 cup raw organic cocoa (without any added sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (real one & corn syrup free)
  • 5 strawberries
  • (mint leafs are optional)

Here is the recipe:

Step 1: Crust: 8 pitted dates + 1 cup of salted roasted almonds (can add a little pecans) goes into food processor to mix evenly and then pressed into pie crust which goes into freezer to settle.

Step 2: In the meantime start making the filling by mixing 3 ripe avocados, 3/4 cup cocoa, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in the clean food processor.

Step 3: put steps 1 & 2 ingredients together decorate w strawberries and let it cool in the refrigerator for 60-90 minutes after which voilà—most delicious and healthful desert Raw Cocoa Avocado Cake is ready! For best taste eat in the next 24 hours (which you will see won’t be a problem 😉
